Experience the built world of tomorrow today - the new laboratory for Augmented - and Virtual Reality at Herrenhäuser Straße 8 makes it possible.
Students have access to the latest hardware and software to immerse themselves in virtual reality. The technology makes it possible:
- to undertake architectural, urban planning and landscape design
- to evaluate BIM plans jointly in all dimensions
- Design interactively in virtual environments
- Overlay the construction and manufacturing process with digital twins

Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Headset as well as powerful computers are available.

Useage
The laboratory is managed by the Institute for Design and Representation, Department for Digital Methods in Architecture (dMA). The department regularly offers courses on the topic of virtual reality.
