ITS-Pool (Computer Pools)

The current occupancy of the pools is managed via the universitys calendar. If necessary, employees can be given read access here.

Spread over three rooms, a total of 50 (= 18 + 18 + 14) powerful machines are available here for work around the clock.

The computers in the computer pools in the field of architecture are normally exchanged every 5 years.

However, we do not exchange all computers at once, but currently have two generations of systems in use in the pools in the field of architecture:

• "Generation F" in Pool 1 (14 PCs) and Pool2 (18 PCs)
  i7 Quadcore, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD
• "Generation G" in Pool 3 (18 PCs)
  i7 Quadcore, 32 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD
